One by one

Hi
My name is Hassan
I am currently working hard in London (UK) and looking forward to progress in my life. I hope that works out well but I will have to wait and see. So far my favorite thing here in London has been sleeping, because I never get enough of it. I was born in Persia in 1974. I currently live in North West of London; I came here in 2002 and have been living here ever since. You see, the world is going mad particularly in the Middle East. That is why I left my country to find a better world and a way forward. Many Iranians prefer to stay in IRAN because life is so easy with the billions of dollars of oil many coming in .They try to take advantage of the conditions to fill their pockets. At the same time minorities of people are fighting for Democracy in the midst of this "ideological" state, but up to now they have been quickly suppressed. Unfortunately now the country has gone to the dogs and that is why we have the highest rate of brain drain in the world. Over two million Iranians are living abroad, most of them in USA (California), Britain and all over the Europe. A majority of them have been very successful.
I received my bachelor degree in accounting in 1997, but I had started working in an insurance company in 1994 and I continued until 2002 when I left the country. Yes I worked hard and spent 7 of best years of my life for the company but all I could save from working for those rubbish managers was just a return ticket to London although I got a lot of experience in that market and its networks. But I decided to change my condition any way. I arrived in London with just the little money that I had borrowed from the bank and I started work two days after my arrival. An average of 14 hours of work in a day for six month. It was really hard work but the result was very good. The money I could save was the same amount that I had earned in 7 years of work for that governmental company. It was amazing because in a healthy economy if you try hard enough you could change your circumstances and it could have been even better if I had known that from the beginning. However after six month I worked lighter and tried to know more about every thing. I wanted to know more about culture, race, society and economics and wondered how things exactly turned out to be what they were. I could compare the two cultures and tried to analyze them.
That is My Philosophy of Life, to know more and more because Life is the ultimate value for each and every one of us. The highest purpose of my life is my own happiness, to live a life full of achievements in a positive and ethical way and to help others in to do the same.
In march 2004 my friend (Canadian man but originally from IRAQ) and me started a trip from London to IRAQ with a German made car through France, Italy, Greece, Turkey. After selling the car in Iraq and visiting my friend and going to holy shrines in 4 cities, I went to IRAN to see my family. This 6000 kilometers’ Journey which took us through many cities on the way was wonderful because I found out many things about these countries and their cultures, particularly Iraq because it was in the middle of a civil war with Saddam being captured and hostages being killed every day. That made our journey to Iraq very dangerous. But I should call it Travel University, because you could never experience those things other than on such a journey.
I am still working hard and hoping to move forward and make my life better and more meaningful.
